Lowlynn House
Although spelled in many ways, Lowlynn House was the residence of the Gregsons and Knight Gregsons in our branch of the family. This forum is dedicated to what we know about Lowlynn. (alternative spellings: Low Lynn, Lowlinn and Low linn).

Mystery of the coffin lid table at Lowlynn
There is a story in our family about a coffee table made from the coffin lid of a recently [ mid to late 1700’s ] re-interred body of General Tom Forster of the 1715 Jacobite fame. Dave Allen states: "It was apparently painted green and to quote my grandfather – it was at Lowlyn for many years”!
