An excellent book with Delaval history.

R.E.G. Cole,  History of the Manor and Township of Doddington, Otherwise Doddington-Pigot,…, James Williamson (Lincoln, 1897)

The book was written by  the Rector of Doddington Parish, Lincolnshire and has extensive coverage of the Delaval and Hussey families. Cole details key members of the Delaval family and devotes 35 pages to John Hussey Delaval.  Susanna Elizabeth Knight is mentioned near the end of the chapter.

Pedigree of Delaval (from the book)

Gilbert De Laval (1215) to Edward Delaval of S. Dissington

Francis Blake-Delaval to John Hussey Delaval

Craster, H.H.E., History of Northumberland V. 9, The Parochial Chapelries of Earsdon and Horton, Andrew Reid (Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, 1909). p. 167 <== link on Archive.org

This is a very complete pedigree which begins with Hugh Fitz Roger, grandfather of Gilbert de la Val who held the barony of Callerton in 1166.
